QUALITY & PRECISION
This more conventional process of aluminium casting with tilting or fixed shell moulding machines allows the production of quality parts with precision. We can produce parts from a few grams to 20kg and from a few millimetres to 60cm with high mechanical requirements. It is suitable for the production of small, medium and large series which may require heat treatment afterwards.
The steel mould offers great stability and therefore precision and consistency in the dimensions of the parts produced. It can be fitted with cores and/or inserts, which makes it possible to produce complex parts, thus simplifying and reducing machining (for overall cost reduction).
In the case of tilting, the semi-automated feeding of the aluminium mould allows a regular and controlled filling in order to obtain high quality parts (material integrity). This process guarantees improved mechanical characteristics, thanks to faster cooling of the cast alloy, compared to traditional sand casting.
We produce the cores in-house using three core makers, which allows us to ensure control and high production standards.
